# Contributing to Trail Kit

Thanks for helping people get outside! Hacktoberfest contributions are very welcome.

## How to contribute

1. Fork this repo (click **Fork** at the top right).
2. Clone your fork and create a branch: `git checkout -b my-change`
3. Make your change and test it. For the planner demo, open `index.html` in your browser.
4. Commit and push your branch.
5. Open a Pull Request and describe what you changed and why.

## Good first issues

Look for the `good first issue` and `hacktoberfest` labels.

## Guidelines

- Keep pull requests small and focused.
- Be kind and respectful.
- Low-effort or spam PRs will be closed.
